As someone who was an adamant benQ fan, I ultimately switched to the Optoma after some testing of both. If you are in this 4k pixel shift market you are likely also looking at BenQ and a couple of others.
From my research, this had superior colours, decent (sensible, not forced) brightness and it's extremely quiet compared to my old BenQ W1070.

My only criticisms are the excessively bright remote control backlight, and it doesn't seem to have CEC so I can't switch it on with Alexa etc via HDMI. At this price though it's not a huge issue.

If you have a bit more money, the HD50 and upward models still look amazing from Optoma. The BenQ's are either forcibly too bright or they are blurring the pixels close up.

This is a well priced 4K capable projector.
It isn't actually native 4K as these still start at £5000 but takes a 4K input and outputs it as if it is real 4K as viewable to the human eye.
The picture is very good quality because of this and very noticeable to a 1080p picture.

I have this projector setup with a 120” screen and it is perfect from around 4 metres away.
I don't use it during the day (although it is still viewable on high brightness) as I have turned the eco mode on to help save lamp life which now should be raised considerably.

It has 2 HDMI inputs only one which supports 4K and a VGA.
There is a 12 volt trigger for a projector screen and the usual other connections.
A USB can provide power for a device if required.
It has built in sound 2 x 5watt speakers which are loud enough for quiet simple viewing but I prefer a proper home cinema 5.1 or 7.1 external sound device.
An optical output connection can be used for connecting to an AV amplifier as can one of the HDMI outputs.
The remote is good quality and has a built in back light that lights up when you press it. This is very bright in a dark room.
The keystone is a little tricky to setup but ideally you don't require this.
The picture can be moved up or down a little way via a manual control near the focus and zoom.
There is a further digital zoom in the on screen menu which is quite ample.

I had a good deal during Black Friday for the 2200 lumens model which prompted me to purchase.

Bought this for a home cinema and gaming and it certainly hasn't disappointed. The first one had a loud colour wheel buzz when it was running, but I exchanged and the second is almost silent, even when running at max brightness. Picture is fantastic at 1080p. I've not had a chance to try at 4k. Controls are intuitive and the remote is back-lit (and then some!).

Great 4K imagine at a bargain price(Picked up at £699). It's a big unit so it's more suited to a dedicated home cinema. Draw back is the single colour wheel and if your are susceptible to rainbow effect as I am it'll take you a while to block it out.

Writing the review based on the features I could evaluate. Bought it from Amazon warehouse, it was stated as used/new, the lamp had less than 300 hours of usage (for a years old product that's very good). Unfortunately had to return the product as the hdmi 2.2, the only one with 4k @60 fps was not working and failing to connect to any devices I tried. The other hdmi was working fine. The picture quality at 1080p is excellent, never had a projector before and it blew my mind. It does feel like you are in a cinema. Good brightness, good darks and contrast. Tested it in an 80 inches screen, using a chrome cast ultra. The sound has an average quality and sounds a bit mechanical, but it's suffice for a temporary solution. Would probably increase the stars if could properly use the 4k. I guess that's a bit of a lack of quality control from Amazon warehouse.
