First week or so was awesome, the next few weeks I saw a steady decrease in foam quality, expresso heat and boiler heating time from startup.
I like a good few others had the initial issue of it stopping for no reason, a cleaning which wasnt needed fixed this(I believe the screw to the boiler outlet was too tight and stopped operation somehow) it wasnt dirty at all but once i put it back together it worked again.
I noticed accidentally having the milk frothing button pressed on during start power up can cause intermittent turning off too, had this slightly but I believe this issues user centric(Explained in the manual)...
Also the boiler outlet and steam wand seemingly randomly leaked water, sometimes tepid but sometimes invitingly warm, just when you were cleaning it or putting your expresso cups underneath it!

Seemed as if it was designed to break after a year or two if you were lucky, and for the price I personally was happy returning it and making sure my money was better spent. Perhaps was the price point but I definitely expected a heavier duty product.
Dont know if it's amazon or this particular brand as a couple other larger priced electronics I've bought on here have been typically lower quality (Maybe amazon is buying the batches of electronics made by first day hungover employees?)

The first one had to go back with a faulty switch, but Amazon were brilliant. I had a new one the following day. This one has worked brilliantly. We can make superb coffees now with this machine. Once I get the hang of the frother it will be even better. It's me that's the problem with frothing, not the machine, but I'm getting there and my Coffee Art is improving. But the taste of the coffee is wonderful. There is a minor niggle with the wand dripping for 5 minutes after I have used it but that's not a problem. You can just swing it inwards & anything that drips out is caught in the tray. To sum up. this is a fantastic machine that produces barista quality coffee at an extremely reasonable price through Amazon. We absolutely love it.

I bought this because it was a which Best Buy and to be fair it does make a good coffee. Unfortunately it is so poorly designed that I can't recommend it at all. The biggest issue is the amount that it leaks water from both the steamer wand and the espresso maker during use. The drip tray hardly catches any of this so water pours off the front and side of the machine and all over your work surface. The only way to clean this up completely is to unplug the machine and move is so you can mop up the water that has pooled underneath. I didn't realise how bad it was for the first couple of weeks and I'm now going to have to sand down a damaged work surface. Buy an alternative.

This is a good all-round coffee maker. The design is nice but it could do with being a bit heavier as when you attach the dispensing arm the machine has a tendency to shift a little but it's no big deal.

One downside to this machine is the space underneath the dispensing arm once it's attached only allows for an espresso sized cup to be placed beneath the arm. This means to make e.g. a latte you'll need to either dispense the coffee into a smaller cup and transfer to a bigger one or remove the drainage grill to fit the bigger cup underneath. For the price though, it's a small inconvenience...

One thing to note is the water tank is quite large so if you're only having one cup of coffee a day there's no point filling the tank to the max. Only mention this cause water is a foodstuff and shouldn't be left standing for too long.

Overall quite impressed so far with two months use.

I've had this machine for a little over 4 weeks, using it 4-6 times a day and I am delighted with it. Some reviewers have said it drips, yes it does but this is a machine costing approx £150, not £1k. You also have to turn off the flow rather than it being automatic but that isn't a problem. Removing the drip tray to fit a mug underneath is no issue either, I just place a small cup under the dispenser to catch the drips afterwards. I mostly make Americanos and know that the water goes into the cup before the coffee, this helps to create a very smooth coffee with a nice bit of froth, or crema. Making a latte or cappuccino is easy enough, it would be nice if the frothing wand was a little bit longer, but that is the only minor point for me. If you use the frother, you do need to remember to turn off the bottom button otherwise you can't turn it on later to make another drink. I also use the textured milk to make a hot chocolate, which is great. Cleaning the 2 parts of the wand is a bit fiddly but still not enough to knock a star off. I don't use capsules so can't comment on that. This is my first barista machine and for the price, it's great.

I use this coffee machine for lunchtime coffee. I`m not greatly impressed but admit I have no previous experience of such machines. My first setback was that the coffee was lukewarm. The instructions for use "recommend" an initial run though of hot water (no coffee) but this is essential and doubles the time needed to make a cup of coffee. Setback 2 was the trickiness of fitting the filter as the socket is invisible (inevitably, I suppose). Further problem - the filter disk can be removed from its cup only by a pair of pliers - not exactly what you want to keep in a kitchen drawer, in order to obviate a trip to the garage every time the machine is used.
