Really simple to set up. Works great with Google Home. Great colours and brightness.
I set it up to fade in 15 minutes earlier than my alarm clock and I find myself a lot more awake when the alarm goes off. I sometimes even open my eyes before the alarm! Still haven't managed to leave bed on time, and I snooze for 45 minutes but that's not the bulbs fault....
I turn the colour orange when is near bed time as you shouldn't be exposed to blue light near bedtime. It does help, but I still don't go to bed when I should. Once again, can't blame the light bulb...
When I park my car I tell Google I'm home and light turns on! Makes me feel important, and I love it. It is an amazing piece of technology, does everything it claims it does but unfortunately not enough to correct my bad habits. Will continue to look for the correct gadget for this.
Definitely worth the money.

These bulbs are just great. I put these bulbs into my lamps around my lounge and it only took me a few minutes to set them up. With the Kasa app which I already have on my phone, I can now control them using my phone or ask Alexa to turn them on/off and increase or decrease the brightness. The only thing about all of these wifi gadgets that I can get now is that, they can make one very lazy, but I just love all of this technical stuff. Thank you.

I love these lights. I had been looking for a nice looking bulb with WiFi connectivity that would integrate with Alexa. I first saw these buy chance when they were on an Amazon daily deal. Purchased and loved instantly when it arrived.
I now have four of these. Two is side lamps in the livingroom and the others are in pendant lights elsewhere. They're in room groups setup within the Alexa app so I can walk into a room (there are echos in every room) and ask Alexa to ‘turn the lights on' and on they come. If I'm in another room I can address the lights using the name of each bulb.
Not only do they look great and provide a really nice light, the brightness is perfect in every room. You can tune the brightness in 1% increments using either the app of Alexa to create the right light for any space. A simple on/off switch can be used to treat the bulb like a standard LED.
Using the Kesa app you can configure the bulb to come on at one of the four present brightness levels or last state when it is switched with either the app/Alexa or at the switch itself.
It's a small thing but I love the way these lights turn on and off via the app/Alexa. When they come on the brightness increases to the desired level and when switched off they fade until off.
Control via the app/Alexa is very quick. Instant in most cases. An active internet connection is required for control via Alexa due to the way Alexa works but I have still had local control via the app when our internet connection has gone down.

Bought two of these to replace a cheap Chinese one that failed, since you can only buy them in pairs, and fancied an additional one for another room. Wish I had have done sooner, because they're so much better! The setup procedure was a doddle - everything "just works" as you'd expect, unlike the cheaper ones that have problems with 5Ghz vs. 2.4GHz networks etc. and have you fiddling about with various setup modes before they can be coaxed into life. The Google Voice integration also works flawlessly, and unlike the cheaper bulb, this one can be happily turned off at the wall and will remember its settings, reconnect to wifi and just start working again when you turn it back on. So it can be used like, you know, a normal bulb, in addition to the voice integration which is the killer feature for me. Doing this tended to trigger connectivity problems with the cheaper bulb I had. Definitely worth paying a little more for the Kasa, though they're still pretty damn reasonably priced to be fair - certainly compared to the cost of e.g. Phillips Hue when you factor in the cost of the Zigbee hub etc. if you only want a small number of bulbs. Good quality at an affordable price point, as I've come to expect from TP-Link. Very happy so far!

The one I bought in this review must be about the 6th or 7th of these bulbs I've bought. I like the Kasa app on Android and I like the extraordinarily simple setup and Alexa integration (can just as easily control the bulbs from in the Alexa app too). I've also got three Philips Hue bulbs that were more expensive and a right pain to set up (they need a "hub" and I had problems getting the bulbs to "see" the hub!). If you just want a simple to setup and use controllable, coloured bulb I wouldn't hesitate to get TP-Link LB130s (they even come with a screw/bayonet adapter so it doesn't matter which kind of fitting you have).

BTW if you mount the bulb in a room with a dimmer switch you MUST ensure the dimmer is turned all the way up otherwise the bulbs "buzz". If you need to dim the lights you just say "Alexa, set dining room to 30%" or whatever anyway!

I looked at various brands and TP Link was the cheaper one vs Phillips as well as not requiring an expensive hub. I bought 1 smart bulb for 19.99 and ordered 2 more because they are that good. You will need the Kasa app, once you enable the Alexa skill, she will automatically identify the smart bulbs. They look amazing and have so many colours to choose from. At 19.99, you won't get any better from a brand that is reliable. I decided to invest in this brand after buying the TP link smart plugs for 29.99 for 3 from another retailer during Black Friday sales.

UPDATE DEC 11TH 2019
The 2nd batch of lights have been great apart from the fact the scheduling feature in the app does not seem to turn the lights on when times are preset. My netaork isn't an issue as all the other lights function via scheduling it is just the light in 1 room.

UPDATE DEC 22ND 2019
The issue was the timezone somehow was set to Amercia hence the scheduled time wasn't working according to GMT. Please check the device settings and timezone. You can reset it by going into your account settings and then to location setting. All works now!
