I find this light and small enough to pop in your toiletries bag, also better & cheaper than ladies shavers. No electric shavers get as close as a wet shave but this is pretty good & prevents the dry skin that wet shaving was causing on my legs in the summer.

Razors used to have two shaving heads, but nowadays all brands seem to offer only three-headed ones. I find these bulky and awkward and not as easy to get into 'corners', around nose and mouth. This two-head Remington is a joy to use and I have used it every day for more than a month - not just for travel. It gives a good shave and the skin improves over a week, seeming to make it even closer than before. The rechargeable battery lasts at least five days. A small leather pouch purchased separately ( under £5) protects the razor and cleaning brush for storage.

I wrote this about the R91 back in 2012 and it could equally apply to the R95:
I've found this shaver good for travelling, it's light and the charge lasts at least a fortnight, and gives an acceptable shave. To clarify a couple of points. It is mains or battery but is not supplied with a recharge adaptor, you would have to buy one separately. Also, it does not have a side burns trimmer, which I find a bit of a nuisance. A perhaps trivial point is that there is no case supplied and the head protector comes of easily in a toilet bag (This has been cured for the R95 and the head protector stays on more frimly).
I have only had to buy a new shaver because I dropped the R91 once to often and the case cracked. I hope the R95 gives such good service.

Bought as spare / travel shaver. Wasn't expecting much at this price but although the motor sounds as powerful as a Scalextric car, it works just fine and cuts almost as close as my regular, much more expensive shaver. For the money, I can't fault it.

I bought this thinking "it's cheap, but it's Remington, it's probably fine". Wrong. It really tugs/pulls on hair, far far worse than I've experienced from an electric shaver before, so it's unpleasant to use, and leaves my skin red afterwards.

First thing to mention is that although this shaver is advertised on Amazon as coming with a travel pouch, it definitely doesn't. Amazon need to update their wording, as it is clear that the manufacturer has never supplied this item with a travel pouch, which is a bit of a shame as it would protect it when jammed in a sponge bag in the suitcase.
However, the shaver itself is compact, light & nice to handle, although I don't think the actual shave is as close as the equivalent Phillips shavers I've had in the past. However, the on-off switches always failed on those, which is why I'm trying this Remington. I've actually got a trimmed beard, so only need this to shave around the edges, so am not really in a position to give a review as to it's action or battery life when doing a full shave, but so far the battery life seems fine, & the shave is cerainly good enough for my purposes. Here's hoping that the on-off switch lasts longer than the Phillips!
